It really is all about grace when it comes to being a Christian. It is only possible because of what Jesus Christ has done. I am so thankful for this truth because it means that salvation is dependent on what he has done and I just have to put my faith in Jesus Christ to be saved. I think that this song by CityALight called “Yet Not I But Through Christ in Me” really captures the gospel and it encourages me each time I listen to it. All the work is done. Jesus Christ did all the work on the cross and then he defeated death coming back to life. The gospel is simple, being saved is simple.
