The word destination appears in white on a blue sky

My theme for the 2022 A to Z Challenge is faith and encouragement from a Christian point of view. I hope that you will be encouraged through these posts.

Destination

Today I want to encourage all believers to look ahead to our final destination which is Eternity with God. This world is not our home. We are on a journey here and have a wonderful day to look forward to.

I must also warn those reading this who are not a Christian. The truth is that there is another eternal destination that the unsaved go to and this is a place of torment and eternal flames. You can learn more here.

It is easy to get caught up in this world and loose sight of the beautiful destination we are running to. The hope of heaven is the light that gets us through the dark days.

I wrote a poem reflecting on that wonderful day I reach my final destination.

That Wonderful Day (Original Poetry)

I will trust as I wait
And I know that someday
I will see you face to face.

Where I won't be afraid where there is no longer pain.
Where troubles and sorrow ceace..

So I will trust as I wait
For that wonderful day
When the struggle fades away,
When I will see you face to face.

You can read more of my poetry here.

You can listen to the Spoken word version of this poem below.
