My theme for this year’s A to Z Challenge is faith and encouragement from a Christian point of view. I hope these posts are an encouragement to you. I am addressing these posts to myself as well.
Verity
Today in society it is getting harder to tell the truth from the lies. There is no longer a standard of what is right and what is wrong. There are few that are willing to seek after truth. We must not get caught up in this web of lies that the world spins. We must hold on to the truth. The truth is found in the word of God.
We must stand up for the truth. We must stand up for what is right. We must have the word of God as our standard. God is true and he does not lie.
There is a time coming when those who refuse the truth will fall for the lie (read 2 Thessalonians 2 here).
The truth is that Jesus Christ is the only way to the father.
The truth is those who are saved have everlasting life.
The truth is that there is right and wrong. We must stand up for what is right.
Stand for the truth today.
