Reflections: Some Encouraging Words

Sometimes when you are on this walk of Christian faith it can be easy to become discouraged. Yes getting saved is easy but walking through life as a Christian can be a lonely road.

Here are some encouraging quotes to encourage you in all aspects of faith.

The love of God

When you are a Christian nothing can separate you from the love of God.

We must believe that God is love & that, being love, He cannot harm us but must ever do us good. Then we must throw ourselves before Him & pray with boldness for whatever we know our good & His glory require, and the cost is no object!

The word of God is the energy source that every believer needs to grow stronger in the faith. I suggest that you read the Bible from beginning to end.

Encouragement for each morning

Take time each morning to reflect on what God does for you each day.

In the "morning" we are reminded of beautiful things about God:

His joy is new (Ps 30:5).
His faithfulness is new (Lam 3:23).
His justice is swift (Zeph 3:5).
His ears are open (Ps 88:13).
His will is revealed (Is 50:4).
His provision is ready (Mt 6:31–32).

Trust God and don’t rely on your own understanding

Proverbs 3:5-6 says we must trust in the Lord and not trust in our own wisdom or understanding. I believe God guides his children along through life.

Prayer is a lifeline and we can come boldly to God’s throne. We can freely come and share our hearts. We should not take this privilege for granted.
