My theme for this year’s A to Z Challenge is faith and encouragement from a Christian perspective. i hope that these posts will be an encouragement to you during this month. These days times are hard and we all need some encouragement from time to time.
Youth
Today I want to encourage the Christian youth out there. The world we are living in today is getting darker each day. It seems to be getting darker as each new generation comes along. I am 35 years old so I am not that young anymore, so I am asking those who are younger to make up their mind to serve God. You must be a light to this dark world.
You should raise your children in the Lord. Teach them the word of God and start as soon as they are born. Teach them worship songs. The younger they start to serve God the better it will be for them and others.
The children are currently under attack in our society today. It is time that the youth see a good example to follow in their peers.
“12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity” (1 Timothy 4:12 KJV)
I hope this encourages younger believers to serve God in all these areas and set the example for others. You have the strength to do this now so do it while you can (read Ecclesiastes 12 KJV).
